This policy explains what RAWSINGH.FIT (rawsingh.fit) collects when you visit, why, and the choices you have. It covers this website only. Last updated 27 September 2026.

Who runs this site

This website is run by Randeep Singh, based in Perth, Western Australia. You can reach me at collab@rawsingh.fit.

The short version

• There are no accounts, and you do not need to sign up to read anything.
• Analytics and advertising only run if you accept them in the cookie banner. Until then, nothing from Google loads.
• I do not sell your personal information.

What the website collects, and why

• Your cookie choice. Saved in your browser (local storage) so the site can respect it next time. It stays on your device.
• Dismissed banners. If you close an announcement banner, your browser remembers that so it does not keep reappearing.
• Analytics, only if you accept. Google Analytics uses cookies to count visits and see which pages are read. It records things like pages viewed, approximate location (country and city level), device, browser and how you arrived. I use it to understand what is useful and to improve the site.
• Advertising, only if you accept. Google AdSense may use cookies and similar technologies to show and measure ads on this site.
• Newsletter, only if you sign up. Your email address is sent to the email service connected to the site at the time (Buttondown, Kit or Mailchimp) so it can send you emails. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• Email you send me. Used to reply to you.
• Hosting. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver pages securely and protect against abuse.
• Images and files. They are delivered from the Sanity content network (cdn.sanity.io), so your browser contacts it to load them, as with any web host.
• Videos and links. YouTube and Vimeo videos only load after you press play; before that, nothing is requested from them. Links to Instagram take you to Instagram, which has its own policy.
• Fonts are served from this site, not from Google Fonts.

Cookies and storage

• rsf-consent (local storage). Remembers your cookie choice.
• _ga and _ga_… (cookies). Google Analytics, only after you accept. Typically kept for up to two years.
• Google advertising cookies. Set by Google AdSense, only after you accept advertising.

The basis for using your information

Analytics and advertising rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Everything else is needed to run the website or to reply to you.

Who else handles your information

Google (Analytics and AdSense, only with your consent), Cloudflare (hosting), Sanity (content delivery), your email service if you subscribe, and YouTube or Vimeo if you press play. Some of them process data outside Australia, including in the United States. How Google uses data from sites that use its services.

How long I keep it

• Your cookie choice: until you clear your browser storage.
• Analytics data: for the retention period set in my Google Analytics account.
• Emails you send me: as long as needed to deal with your message.
• Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe.

Your choices and rights

You can change or withdraw your cookie choice at any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the site treats it as a decline until you choose otherwise.

Depending on where you live (for example Australia, the UK and EU, Canada or India), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your privacy regulator. In Australia that is the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. Email me and I will respond.

Children

This site is not aimed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top will be updated.
